For two days from November 13, 2024, we invited Professor Alexandra Mendoza = Caminade of the University of Toulouse Capitole, who is familiar with European intellectual property law and AI regulations, to give a lecture on the relationship between intellectual property law and the virtual (especially the metaverse) and the relationship between intellectual property law and generative AI.
The lecture was held at Keio University's Mita Campus as a hybrid of face-to-face participation and Zoom Webinar participation, and a total of more than 200 people applied for the lecture over the two days, indicating a high level of interest.

【Event Report】 Intellectual Property Law Seminar Series / CPS Research Group “Brand Protection in Africa in the Age of E-Commerce”(October 22, 2024)
On October 22, 2024, we welcomed Professor Ahn of the Technical University of Munich, a specialist in intellectual property law, to give a lecture on Africa and brand protection in the age of e-commerce. Despite the late start time of 6 p.m., a diverse group of about 50 people including students, faculty and staff from Keio University and other universities, intellectual property departments of law firms and private companies, as well as high school students, gathered at the Mita Campus of Keio University and listened attentively.

[Event Report] Event held to commemorative Legal Day: Specialist in Intellectual Property Law and Digital Law Invited to Lecture on “French AI Policy: Focusing on Intellectual Property Law” (October 08, 2024)
On October 8, 2024, a lecture was held by Professor Alexandra Bensamoon of the University of Paris-Saclay, a specialist in intellectual property and digital law.
Approximately 140 people, including students, faculty members, and researchers from Keio University and other institutions, as well as lawyers' firms, intellectual property departments of private companies, and government agencies, participated in the event.
