【Abstract】
VR technologies have advanced through telepresence, immersive video, and interactive content, now expanding further on the platform of the metaverse.
Prof. Scott Fisher from the University of Southern California, who has long studied interactive content using VR, will give a lecture on the history and possibilities of VR.
Robotics technologies have already been widely applied in industries, such as robotic arms on production lines and drones/UAVs. In the future, applications closer to our daily lives are expected. Assoc. Prof. Takahiro Nozaki of Keio University will discuss haptics technology that
enables robots to hold objects or shake hands like humans.
In IT technology, SNS has become a widely used platform with business models such as affiliation. Mr. Koichi Fukuda, President of Liddell Inc., has pioneered “influencer marketing” and will share insights into business opportunities with SNS and VR technologies.
